Statement of Faith -What We believe and Practice
God
-HeadWe believe in one eternal God, the creator of all things, who
exists in three persons:
the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
(Gen. 1:1, Mat. 28:19, Col.1:16-17, Rev.1:8) He is the creator of heaven and
earth.
Jesus ChristWe believe in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God,
Who
was conceived of the Holy Spirit and was born of virgin Mary. He was Holy and lived a Sinless perfect life. He was crucified
for the remission of the sins of the whole world, during the reign of Pontius pilot and was buried. On the third day, the
Lord raised him from the dead. He ascended to the right hand of the father and He is now our high priest interceding for us.
And He will Come back to judge the living and the dead.
Man -His lost nessWe believe
that man was created in God's image and by dis-
obedience sinned and fell from grace and was eternally lost and
by the disobedience of one man humanity is totally lost eternally. And we believe that salvation is available in Jesus Christ
for any repentant sinner.
Salvation by Grace. We believe that Salvation is a free
gift of God's Grace, freely given to repentant sinners. No good works can earn our salvation and it is purely the deep
work of the Holy Spirit.
Water Baptism
We believe that every believer must witness
Christ in Water baptism. Water baptism does not save any man, but it is an out ward declaration of once inner commitment with
Christ.
The Person of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that every born again and
saved person should receive the Holy Spirit and filled and be baptized for a holy living and witnessing. It is He who
fills the believers with the fruits and the gifts for the edification and witnessing. We believe in miracles and in the manifestations
and demonstrations of spiritual gifts for the edification of the Church.
The Church: We
believe that there is only one church and it is
Universally existent and we are part of this household of God. And
we practice love and unity with all the fellow Christians universally, in spite of small differences and maintain unity. We
flee from the evil of denomination separatism.
Holy Communion (or) Breaking of the Bread.
We
believe that the Lord's Table is a commandment to be observed in all sincerity, holiness and reverence; as a token of
our remembering the Lord Jesus' vicarious death on the Cross as a living sacrifice for the salvation of the whole world.
We observe it with foot-washing.
His Coming Back, resurrection and Judgment.
We
believe and await the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, to receive His children. We believe in the bodily resurrection
of the saints to life eternal and the lost to the resurrection damnation. And we believe in the judgment of God, who
will reward every one according to the good and evil.
The word of God:
We
believe that the Holy Bible with its 66 books is Holy and were written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is infallible
and indisputable and stands as the supreme authority in all matters of spiritual and other matters of the church and individual
issues of life.
