Bethel Evangelistic And Rehabilitation Centre is an Indian  Christian National NGO, properly registered under the Society Act,tax-exempted and an accountability Oriented Non-Profit Organization.  We are in the service and development of less privileged and suffering people for the last 15 years. We believe that each individual is a unique creation of the Living God with a divine plan, purpose and destiny, irrespective of one's color, creed and community attachments’. Bethel is a very small and a God dependent Society. Bethel is involved in Community development, skill training, care for the aged and the sick, widows' support, church planting, training of pastors and summer camps for children. Many lives are changed and therefore their destiny changed for ever. Arvind-Family                                   An Introduction It is God's will in our lives that He enabled us to start Bethel in 1992. My Call was like the Call of Abraham. I had made a covenant with the Living God in the 70s, that I will not serve Him for a salary but will trust Him for my small and my great needs. We had nothing as materials or funds when we started Bethel. We prayed and waited on Him for years and when the right time came He raised faithful friends to support us with their small and big donations, and we were faithful in everything to men and to the Living God. Some of these friends know us for more than 25 years. They know what we believe, what we do, how we live and how faithful we are. The Lord called me from an International Mission to go to my own village where I was born, grew as a child, as an high school student and as a college boy. I was married to Molly in 1979 in Elathagiri. The Lord gave us 5 kids and our first son died and was buried in Bethel campus. All our kids grew up here and were educated by the support of friends and relatives. The community here knows who our parents are and what we owned and what we own now. As a family we have made a commitment that we would never own silver or gold or wear costly dress. We are striving every day and night to live crucified with Jesus Christ. All that I would say shortly is that I am a sinner, saved by the grace of God and I am growing in His grace. He has sanctified me and filled me with the Holy Spirit. And He has called me to serve Him.  My ambition is not to become famous, or to steal and amass wealth. The Lord has filled my heart with God's love to have compassion for other people so that I may pray for them and do good. We only know how to love and serve. We do not know how to revenge, curse or to hurt people. We know how to love who hate us and persecute us. We Pray for them and love them from the bottom of our heart. We are alive because of His grace and mercy. We make mistakes, repent, learn and grow every day in His likeness.  I am putting these words so that you may know us and may not get into identity crisis. Kindly pray for us.
